About

I am a young woman, in my early 20s to be precise! I grew up in a Christian home, and got serious about my relationship with Christ once I started high school. During high school I also met the love of my life, and we got married as soon as I finished my first year of college.

Over the past year, God has shaken up my world! My husband hasn’t been feeling the whole marriage thing. At first, I was devastated, and in shock. But as the days, weeks, and months went on, I started to experience God’s joy and peace in a way I never had before. I began learning so much about how to fully depend on God, and how to truly put HIM first. My eyes were opened to all the ways I had messed up as a wife, and God began to mold and change me into a better one! He has grown my faith so immensely that I wouldn’t ever want to go back to the way things were before!

I am living life, praying for my husband, for our marriage, and for God to make me the wife He wants me to be.

A big part of that is my creativity! It’s something my hubby has always liked about me, and it’s something I truly enjoy…figuring out how to “do things myself.”

These are a few of my favorite things…

love DIY projects, cooking, making our home more homey, and crafts such as sewing, drawing, painting, crocheting, and anything else I can learn to do (which is a lot, thanks to the internet)!

I also enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading God’s Word, singing, playing guitar, board games, video games (with my hubby), camping, and sports (especially ultimate frisbee)!

I’m looking forward to sharing my endeavors with you all. They tend to be inexpensive, which I’m sure is good for most of us! 🙂 I hope to be able to give you all some ideas and tutorials, since I have done SO MUCH with the ideas I’ve gotten from other bloggers!
